George's principle areas of practice are Social Security Disability, Veterans Disability, Railroad Disability, and Workers' Compensation. He is a North Carolina State Bar Certified Specialist in Social Security Disability Law. George is admitted to all courts of the State of North Carolina, the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of the United States District Court of North Carolina, the United States Court of Appeals 4th Circuit, and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimant Representatives, the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Mecklenburg County Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Roscoe Pound Institute. George has helped plan and/or taught several continuing legal education and community education programs on Social Security Disability law.
George received his B.S. degree in psychology from the University of Florida in 1982 and his law degree from Nova University in 1987. He and his wife Linda have been married since 1986 and have 3 children; Jeff and twins Lauren and Chris.
